Organize Saves for Flexibility

Step-by-Step

1. Before making any major decisions, manually create a save file.
2. Name your saves by date, ruler name, or event (“Start”, “Pre-war”, “Marriage”, etc.).
3. Keep a main save and branch saves to roll back or test alternate choices.
4. Save before risky actions (war, marriages, annexations, reforms, etc.).
5. Use saves to experiment and learn, rather than restarting your entire campaign if you make a mistake.
